SW -- I think we should re-evaluate the WAVX story and add it to the index -- this thing IMHO is about to become a rocket -- I could be wrong (but do not think so) watch it today -- The Raging Bull thread is on fire -- as in fired up -- over comments that were made at a conference yesterday in San Jose by Hewlett Packard. The story is pretty complicated given the technology -- The US has made it almost impossible to export encryption technology for the obvious reason -- also most other countries have complicated laws regarding the export or import of encryption technology -- it took 18 months but HP has gotten US approval to export its technology that uses the WAVX chip and software. Also check a weird press release from HP on January 18th announcing that it had gained approval from the US Department of Commerce and 17 other countries (representing 80% of all WEB users) to export its VerSecure technology (this is the HP tech that uses WAVX). HP says it is going to liscense to other PC manfacturers and will make annoucenments soon. HP's approval puts it 18 months at least ahead of any other company seeking to get its encryption technoloy to export -- so HP will be first to market. Notice WAVX was up yesterday on 3 times average volume -- big blocks were traded -- if that continues today -- I think we may be seeing the initial birth of a very big shift in technology -- Now for rumors that are not connected to the conference -- HP is supposedly on track to give WAVX a $40 million line of credit -- to produce the first 5 million WAVX chips. Also more far out -- so far out I'm not sure even I believe it INTEL is looking to include WAVX in its new chip sets. All of this coming from credible posters -- one who attended the conference -- check out the raging bull thread on WAVX -- I think this story may unfold faster than we thought. Check the Jan 18 HP press release -- this all makes sense -- even if much of it is rumor and posts from people who have been very credible.
