You mean that this is another "V-type" recovery? ...or is it just a "U" on steroids? The latter is more politically correct and will allow many so-called gurus to save face! :-)

Three-month average shipments in December 1998 were $924 million. The figure is one percent below the November 1998 level, and is 41 percent below the December 1997 level.

With the lack of increased cap ex being announced I'd say btb is
pretty close to where it'll be for a while.
