<<Sig: would you ask Jan when to sell some these stocks, not Dell of course.<g>>>>
Girls(Jan and Alison, etc) have a strange affinity for Dell stock
. Known for years not to sell it. Do not permit selling it.
( something about 'over my dead body' See also Gregs posts (G)
I'm good at buying things, not selling them. Used to buy older MBZ's to fix and sell,( they are not expensive if engine is "broke")
Ended up with 5 of them, when my friend said "you've got the buying down pat, now better learn to sell them". It was a fun time.....
But I see no problem selling any other stock if you put the money
into Dell, esp. into the far-out calls. Or maybe Msft, or Csco, etc There is no way to keep from missing a lot of the shooting stars.Too many of them.
I sold the Amzn and the Cpq.The Cmgi too early then bought some back, sold Yhoo (three times) too early but have got it back.
No right or wrong way to do it, its a case of being overall right
60% of the time which will make one a winner.
Regards
Sig
