Listening to Greenspan. He sets up the congressman with talk about how high the stock market is and that the economy is doing so well perhaps significantly because of all the money that is generated etc. Then he says the FED is not directly concerned in that it is not part of interest rate policy. Then he says that the FED was not concerned with stock market when it cut rates last fall and that it would not in any sense try to save stock market with rate cuts. So now he has their attention.

BLAM: he says that protectionism in Congress (which he obviously sees making a comeback) could kill the stockmarket (and thus economy etc) and FED won't try to save it. Love it!!!!!
