T. LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 1999--

QuikBIZ Mall Will Provide "One-Stop"
First of its Kind Solution For Communications Needs

QuikBIZ Internet Group, Inc. (OTC BB: QBIZ) announced that it
will launch the first of its kind, fully interactive virtual on-line
mall, the QuikBIZ Mall, specifically to provide e-commerce
business-to-business solutions for a company's communications needs.
The new site will offer businesses a "one-stop" on-line mall for
business communication products and services, the first such mall of
its kind. The QuikBIZ Mall will host unique specialty shops as
tenants, who will provide functions such as Internet Television and
Radio services, Internet consulting, duplication services for
Audio/Video/CD/DVD and presentation equipment, to name a few. The site
is expected to be operational sometime in the first quarter of 1999.
Commenting on the announcement, David Bawarsky, Chief Executive
Officer of QuikBIZ, said, "With our focus on Internet related
initiatives such as our Internet Television Studios, designed for
creating video programming to be streamed over a company's Intranet or
web site, and the success of our Quoteit.com web site, the QuikBIZ
Mall is a natural response to consumer demand and the ever increasing
popularity of e-commerce in our society. QuikBIZ Mall will allow
businesses to shop for all of their communications needs, everything
from advertising services to animation services. Eventually, the Mall
will also include such tenants as commercial banking and travel
services."
According to Forrester Research, an Internet research firm,
businesses have sold $43 billion worth of goods to each other over the
Web in 1998, over five times the retail total. Forrester projects that
business-to-business sales will reach $1.3 trillion, or 9.4 percent of
all business-to-business sales. The Aberdeen Group, a Boston-based
research firm, projects business-to-business at 10 to 20 times the
business-to-consumer market."
Mr. Bawarsky added, "The growth of business-to-business sales
over the Internet is an important factor in our launching the QuikBIZ
Mall. As experts in the business communications market we believe that
our Mall will play a major roll in the growth of our company."
The Company said the site will include all QuikBIZ-owned services
and strategic partners as tenants, and will feature only one of each
type of business or service. QuikBIZ's wholly-owned subsidiary, The
Smith Agency, will handle all advertising and marketing store concept
designs. The Company will actively promote the virtual mall, seeking
both new members and vendors. There is no membership fee and new
members who sign up for the QuikBIZ Mall will be entered into a
contest to win a $1,000 shopping spree.
Interested merchants and vendors can contact QuikBIZ for more
information and enrollment forms at quikbiz.com.
QuikBIZ Internet Group is an Internet-related holding company,
which wholly owns several subsidiaries including The Smith Agency,
QBIZ Business Centers, QuikLAB Multimedia Centers and Quoteit.com.
