Ram, I think margins for STB in China maybe better than US where consumer goods has to be good and cheap. (In fact, US has the lowest price of CE products anywhere in the world). Therefore there is hope. The proof is in the report card. Quarterly financial report. When Wall Street sees it, It will believe. More observation of this cable Internet set-top box business in China: "....With over 80 million existing Chinese cable TV subscribers, China is currently one of the largest cable consumers in the world. The new cable TV Internet Set-Top systems being developed will allow the consumer to access the Internet without any PC experience or PC hardware......" China has more cable TV subscribers than existing US cable TV subscribers. Who knows how much Chinese users pay per month? and what's the need for them to get news from Internet through cable? Isn't the news tightly controlled by government? Or maybe this ESS cable TV Internet box makes it easy to control information delivery? "...Fei-Hong is a cable TV set-top system developer under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) of China...." So MII is involved. Great. Steve
