>>David, To the best of your knowledge are Scott Flaig and Jim Sierk still with Iomega, if so in what capacity?<<

Harry -

I know the question wasn't directed toward me, but Jim Sierk is still on the Board of Directors, where he has been for quite some time.

As far as I know Scott Flaig is still with the company, although he may be in a different position than the one David mentioned.

To the best of your knowledge are Scott Flaig and Jim Sierk still with Iomega, if so in what capacity? Great article 1/19/99, my compliments

Harry,

Thanks a lot for the compliment.

Jim Sierk was a member of Iomega's board of directors when Kim Edwards resigned. He was "borrowed" for a 6-7 month period (even moved to Roy, Utah and rented a house) to take the helm as a temporary CEO until Iomega could find a permanent one. Yes, he is still on the BOD and is compensated only with Iomega stock.

To my knowledge, Scott Flaig is still there. I can't imagine why he would leave. I don't recall what his exact title is...it's probably listed somewhere on Iomega's web site. My guess....Director or Vice President of Operations. If you listen in on Iomega's conference call tomorrow, you will him address his area of responsibility if they keep the same format as the Q3 conference call. Iomega got a real gem in Scott Flaig.....he came from Dell where had set up the same type of system for them. That's the reason Dell can realize higher gross margins from sales than, say, Compaq. Large revenues is one thing....making a good profit from those revenues is another thing. Dell is the most efficiently run computer company in the business, justifying stock prices in the stratosphere.
