JMD:

As I said before, get in while everyone is looking elsewhere. I should have increased my stake back in October. In my heart I knew G* would bounce back. But as you know with some of your investments, timing is everything. I margined to get to my stake and got a 'white knuckle' ride for a few weeks. Never had a call but a little too close for my liking. Add to that wonderful Uncle Sam taking his bite after I repositioned my previously profitable portfolio to get into Loral/G*/Qualcom and I was tapped out. Too bad, I would love to sit here and say I was up 200% on G*. I expect to be able to say that someday, but I am not currently holding my breath. (From fear or expectation I might add, which is kinda nice in and of itself!)

As I also stated, I am very presently surprised that G* is enjoying these levels with NO good news for the year. Feels like a large pent up demand just waiting for some good news. Just like the pop Loral got when they announced a profit, all the funds bought in.

If the Russians (et al) ever get paid off maybe we can launch a satellite or 12 (ggg) and get this money machine running.

Buy now beat the rush.

"Jeff, when a guy as smart as Valueman is pissed off [mind you, w/o owning any G* shares!], it kind of makes me think adding to the position here makes sense. Any thoughts? Mike Doyle

This is quite sound reasoning Mike--and timely too!
