Dave and All,

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the lacking of scaling with LCD displays. For those who aren't aware every LCD I have seen has the following limitation. The displays are basically only designed to run a max resolution. If you run them lower than that it will crop off portions of the screen and only use a portion of the space. The size of the display area changes and cannot be scaled to fill the screen. This present problems for game players and also for web/graphic desginers who are always switching resolutions to view their work at different sizes. Has anyone seen one that can display 1024x768 and scale 640x480 to full screen. those of you with high res laptops should know what I'm talking about.
