One thing is for sure. Something is going on. Too many shares being traded for several consecutive days now. The last news announcement is not causing this rise. Has there been any insider buying ? Selling?
It will be interesting to see what the insiders do after a double in price in a short time. I don't believe that hostile takeover crap for one second. First of all, if Gruder does indeed own 50.1% or more, then a hostile takeover cannot happen. That's not to say that a merger is not in the works...it would even make sense. These companies need an identity. What will the failure rate of y2k companies be in a few years ? Pretty high. Joining forces may be a way to sustain and flourish....who know's ! Additionally, it makes no sense to me whatsoever that somebody would currently throw down $35 a share in a takeover effort right now.....unless, there is something going on that we don't know about, but I still find it hard to believe. Maybe the company itself is causing the rise in price in an effort to stave off a takeover...again, who knows. Speculation was, is and will be the key word here, gentleman. Regardless, up is better then down, and the heavy volume is very interesting indeed. Good luck to all....KG
