Better strategy is to post there when you want a lower entry point. More shorts there than longs. That is EXACTLY why we don't play short [officially] here.

Someday, if the whole market tanks.. . . we will turn totally short and not have any longs. [Praying that never happens].

By allowing both, you remove the sting from buying as a group. Some are long some are short some play BOTH and the stock just sits there.

Only one way to make a stock move. . . order imbalances. . .like a see-saw. . . supply and demand divided by the market makers.

Our ARTT made some NASDAQ Percentage Gainers lists. Up 23.1% +1 7/8 at 10. cbs.marketwatch.com

Remember our discussing this as a little At Home Network being financed by Lucent Technologies. It was around 5 or 6 then.

Sorry I did not get NINE alert out BEFORE the bell, but my AtHome service went down and threw me all off. I wound up chasing it from about 1.75 all the way to 2.75 before letting it go. Slow confirmations, etc. Glad some of you made some dough on it.

I expect some gap up on ARTT and continuation along with high-tech telecoms. FTEL picked up at end on new deal. I don't trust them, due to strange spin-off of FNET to private company owned primarily by principals. WCII and TGNT had news today. WCII, TGNT and ARTT were all awarded a major property contract by Speiker Properties. This was missed by many wire services, so ARTT did not get the bump from it.

Tip: Remember TCI is being merged into T. So in some cases a cheap way to buy T is to buy and hold TCI. Folks are figuring this out and bidding up TCI, but there are a dozen or more symbols to TCI, and all convert to various percentages of A.T. and T. Also, they are selling for various percentages. . . so if you believe the merger will be completed [I do], then you can get out the ol' calculator and TCI proxy statement and figure out the best deals.
