If it is at 26 $ right now, that's a $ 1.00 increase, so about 4%
increase. The stock seemes to be higher, %- wise ?

The BID was $26, which is the price you could sell it at. Don't forget the bid was probably 24 when you bought (at the ASK) of 25. So, the bid has gone from 24 to 26. Do you remember what the stock was at when you bought the call (to figure how much the stock has appreciated)? It was well above yesterday's close.

Bottom line: this call appreciates faster than the stock. Don't forget though, if the stock goes down, the call will go down faster too.

Besides the quick appreciation, a LEAP of course gives you an opportunity to participate in the appreciation of MORE shares for the SAME money, because you are paying so much less to "control" shares. I "control" 100 shares of msft, a $150 stock, for $1600, quite amazing when you look at it that way!

Of course there could be a downside, if the stock didnt move (this doesnt happen with DELL)and you just forgot the LEAP, it expires which the stock doesnt.
But you knew that already!
