The problem has always been on the equis side. But why do you want big directories? Perform scans in QP to filter down to stocks you will trade, these shouldn't form more than 255 or 510 or so. Have one metstock format dir to sent stocks you hear about or etc, (find out why they don't match your filters, or simply use QP to look at it.

I thought I would love 2000 dir. but not if it is as slow as walking through mush. E-mail Equis and tell them you want direct read of QP and all the other data vendors that aren't on the inside with Equis like Tc2000, QP2, and etc. Equis does what it wants, not what customer wants. It is a good program, too bad they have attitude.
