<It does look strong, but it's not like the rest of the communications stocks aren't going through the roof. In other words, it's not going up on pure fundamentals...>

I, of course, don't know for sure but I feel the stock may be moving higher because of those fundamentals - ironically that Jack Colton pointed out to us - to the effect that MRVC is an EFFECTIVE low cost competitor in a market that is starting to look more to cost as opposed to brand name.

It is true that other networkers like CSCO, COMS and LU are also up sharply ( roughly 2 3/8, 1 7/8, & 4 1/4)today, but these prices are smaller on a percentage basis than MRVC's (3/8 = 5 1/2%) but in every case these stocks were at higher levels only a week ago. Also, look at FORE where it meets earnings expectations of $.10 and is down today $3+. In the recent past MRVC has seemed to move contrary to the market - like investors might deign to put money into the stock only on those slow days when they have nothing better to invest in. Now MRVC leads the market! Although it is true that most investors and funds have never heard of our company and would be unimpressed with the little 3/8th point moves that it makes.

IMHO it is a significant change.
