Paul,

1. Multiprocessing support - cache coherency inconsistencies.

If so, this will delay the product's use in MP systems only.

2. FPU speed enhancements do not meet "expectations".

I don't know who set the expectations, but it seems fairly obvious that there is no way to keep four FPUs filled with data. K7 appears to have been architected with a lot of excess baggage (thus the large die size.) It does seem reasonable to speculate that K7 will outperform PIII at the same clock speed.

What exactly is the level of expectation?
