RE:"Clinton needed to lie (mislead) in the Paula Jones deposition so
that the republicans would overreact so that the demos would
retake some seats so that he wouldn't get booted so that he
could spend the budget surplus on INTC!!! RAH RAH RAH!!!!"

---Good point, man! Clinton had to lie because if he didn't, he wouldn't have been elected and wouldn't have been able to enact the policies that he knows we all need. Wow, why didn't I realize he knows what I need...?
I believe he actually used the same excuse to justify the quazi-illegal methods of gaining campaign contributions, BTW...

As pointed out before, the Clinton desperation speech last night had a little bit for everyone, including those that invest in the stock market. Invest in stocks but don't like Clinton? Not to worry, Clinton will divert taxpayers money into the market and drive it to the stratosphere...you will learn to love him! Of course, I wonder who picks which stocks they buy, or which brokerage they will use? Getting a little complicated now?
I say we form the new "SS funds into Intel stock" lobby immediately.
Can you see the mess this would cause?
I'm glad Greenspan gave a little reality check today.
