Doug~ NEW YORK, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Volpe Brown Whelan Co said Wednesday it cut Ascend Communications Inc (Nasdaq: ASND - news ) to a neutral from a buy rating. -- The company's fourth quarter was solid but does not substantiate any increase in Volpe's earnings estimates for the next year. any one else downgrade? i sold my initial investment (1/3) + profits @ 115 i think LU is a gorilla, like MSFT was/is long term for me am confident/content to let my profits ride it would take 2 bad consecutive qtrs for me to cash out or an accounting error sherry
