I look at the lack of improvement in INTCs P-PRO(alis P-III), and their alliance with HP as signs that INTC has faltered. My guess, however, is that for pure manufacturing, only IBM may may be competitive with them, and I've seen little evidence that IBM can design competitively in the fast changing world of X86. On the other hand, I see signs of brilliance in the design execution of AMD. tgptndr
