zero. This is the norm nowadays whether it is software or
hardware. Intel may be one of the few exceptions.

K6's initial intro might give a clue: If I recall correctly, 10K was shipped at the time K6 was officially introduced in early April of 97.

Jim, I'd say AMD would have an estimated 50,000 good die, some of them not packaged yet before making a release of a high end product like the K7. For the K6-3, they would have 100,000. Petz
