Company Expands Reach Into 226,000 Additional Cable Households

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 1999--Recovery Network Inc. (Nasdaq:RNET - news) and the
Marion County Franchise Board Wednesday announced an agreement to carry all of Recovery Network's cable television
programming on the City-controlled Access Channels.

Channel 99 for homes receiving Time Warner and public access channel 13 for homes receiving Comcast will carry Recovery
Network programming. The two cable companies combined reach approximately 226,000 cable households in the Indianapolis
city limits.

Recovery Network programming began airing in Indianapolis on Jan. 1, 1999 daily from 11:00 P.M. - 6:00 A.M.

Markets

KNOLOGY recently announced an agreement to carry all of Recovery Network's cable television programming in five
systems serving 65,000 cable households.

The February launches include Lanett, Huntsville and Montgomery, Ala.; Augusta, Ga.; and Panama City, Fla.
