I wasn't really responding to your comments, just posting the article as an FYI to the thread. (SI should have a button for that)

Don't kick yourself over opportunity lost. If you were uncomfortable with your position, then you did the right thing, just at an unfortunate time. Proper investing is not gut-wrenching.

Re your prediction, one perspective I find useful is to ask "is it more likely to go down to 120 and never rise to 160 again or to go to 200 and never fall to 160 again." I firmly believe that over time the latter is the better bet, and so am quite comfortable with my position at either 120 or 160.

My forecast is Microsoft will drop to $90, and then back to $200 at year end, of course after split !!!!!!!!!
