Alex, why so negative....doesn't anyone like the little guy anymore? ATM is beyond the long-time bleeding edge and is definitely a leading edge technology today. Large enterprises, including the US government and military as well as Microsoft have deployed ATM and are growing their ATM backbones. What is the future of backbones...GigE? maybe in small and medium companies but not in large companies. Hi-end apps like SAP, video, etc. are changing the requirements. As far as FORE, once a co. deploys FORE, they never change to anything else because their stuff WORKS like nobody elses... and that includes CSCO, XYLN, CS, and a host of other "we got the technology for you" cos. This was a tough quarter for a lot of cos. and FORE met the Street's expectations. You can be sure there was some revenue held back because this quarter will be as tough if not tougher for this industry. DW
