Probably not immediately since yesterday would have been the time to do it with an earnings announcement and a conference call taking place. But look at a chart which show the historical splits of the company and you begin to think otherwise.

Ouch, that hurt today. Over 6 times normal volume.

IMHO this is the usual sell off after great quarter. Along with the market going down, I think it is a great buying opportunity. I for one will take advantage of this first thing in the morning.

The following likely explains today's drop.

Citrix Systems (CTXS 89 -13 3/8 ) posted $0.52 vs. $0.28 Q4 EPS on a 76% revenue rise. The company said it is re-evaluating the amount of prior charges for in-process R&D; result will likely require adjustment to '98 EPS and amortization against future earnings.
