Vlad, As soon as I hear I will post, although as soon as the Ministry announces it will hit the headlines and be all over the place. I am really intrigued to see how Dobson can wriggle out. I feel that the GPs are taking a formal position in relation to their contracts, but Dobson knows that viagra is really an erection enhancer and that everyman and his dog might try to get it if he puts the price at only £5.85 a box of pills. Of course he can approve viagra on the NHS and leave the docs to sort it out on their own budgets - perhaps they will use good judgement - as I said before, my own doctor told me he was reluctant to dish out viagra without very good reason. Since doctors here can already prescribe viagra on NHS for serious cases, these leaves room for interpretation, he might just soften the present guidelines in lieu of major policy decisions about life style drugs. The main problem for Dobson, as I said before, is that there will be all hell let loose in the press if he approves unconditionally. There was a short piece making a fuss a few days ago because prisoners were prescibed viagra on weekend home visits (for performance anxiety), and these were private prescriptions. I do not know about the US, but here one of the main topics for whinging, apart from the weather, is the state of the NHS. Tell me which is more important, viagra for a man with mild ED but who has sex regularly - LIKE MANY OF THOSE IN THE PFIZER TRIALS - or morphine for a little child dying of agonising brain cancer (OK this may be over the top, but you know how the press are). On a different topic, can you explain to me why the share price of Vivus is between 2.5 and 3, I mean why not 3.5 and 4 or say 1.5 and 2? Why is this price range of significance in relation to the claimed manipulation? John reminded you of your conversation with Nina when she claimed that Vivus had a plan for dealing with the shorts. Is it really truly possible that news of parternship etc could be kept under wraps and not leak. Could Leland delay signing until the very last possible moment to suppress leaks? Vlad, had any news from Nina recently? Remember I mentioned Terry Nida a couple of days ago. Do you know he phoned me from the US on a Sunday within 24 hours of an E-mail from me. Tell me, if a Vice President of Vivus can take the time to do this - good or bad that he should 'have' to do this - why the %$?!!*& have I never in my life got any response to any message from Vivus IR.
