Omega Research to release new product roll-out, uses PQT hyperfeed MIAMI, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Omega Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: OMGA - news) announced today that its next generation of premium products, TradeStation 2000i, OptionStation 2000i and Omega Research ProSuite(TM) 2000i (an integration of TradeStation and OptionStation), are expected to be released to manufacturing the week of February 1. Orders for the new products are expected to be taken starting at this time. Because the Company expects to receive a significant volume of upgrade orders from existing customers, as well as increased demand for the new products generally, the Company intends to control the roll-out of the new products in a manner designed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Thanks to the valuable contributions of more than forty software developers, quality assurance engineers, product managers and other contributors, I believe we are about to release an investment analysis software product line that is not only formidable in its powerfulness and capabilities, but was designed from the ground up to embrace the advantages and possibilities of the Internet. I believe that the substantial time and effort we have devoted to improving and refining the products will be greatly appreciated by our customers.'' Omega Research's next generation of products is expected, upon release, to be compatible with the following real-time Internet and broadcast data services: Data Broadcasting Corporation's Signal Online (Internet), StockEdge Online (Internet), InSite (Internet), DBC Signal (Broadcast) and BMI (Broadcast); Data Transmission Network Corporation's DTN Real Time and DTNstant (Broadcast); and PC Quote, Inc.'s Hyperfeed(TM) (Internet and Broadcast).
