Speculation and huksters just seem to go together. What is it called 'salting'? Or something like that? Something very similar is happening to net stocks who 'create' evidence of revenue and 'profits' by creating sweetheart deals with each other. At least with precious metals there is more straight-forward pretending -- some people are crooks. I have to laugh at all the press releases where one net stock goes into an 'allinace' with another and then both stocks go up. What a great joke. In the end they are both pure speculative plays -- boom and bust -- and, hey have I got a deal for you. The net traders will love it and will swarm into the metals if they ever get moving.
