What I am trying to say is that the K6-3 and K7 will be so close in performance - assuming that AMD fixes the K7 FPU inefficiencies - that they cannot market these together unless their prices are comparable.

Suppose that Celeron and PII and PII and Xeon were all very close in performance. Would Intel have trouble marketing them?

I suspect that the K7 FPU is faster than that on PIII.
