Read the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States : ... to Provide for the General Welfare! The framers would roll over in their graves to read this. If this were the sort of Welfare meant by the Constitution then why was it only implemented nearly 150 years later in this century? Remember some creeps wander all around the U.S. to leech on states that didn't birth them. I understand that some refugees even come from rural sinkholes like Indiana to modern states like Arizona and crowd into state universities excluding local Indios and hispanics who have paid Arizona taxes all their lives. HAHAHAHA! Glad to see you read the short bio off my home page! Yes, I'm from Indiana, earned a BS in CS at ISU in 1985 on a scholarship through my dad's labor union, moved first to Oklahoma to work for the small defense contractor Telos Federal Systems for a couple of years, then moved to Arizona to accept a position with Honeywell's Air Transport Systems, and earned an MCS at ASU which was paid for (reimbursed) by Honeywell. It may even surprise you to learn that back in the Ford/Carter days we were on food stamps for a short while (I guess because of that efficient government spending instead of the wasteful consumer spending which came later) and I even remember getting a block of that delicious government cheese. As far as Amerindians and Hispanics being "excluded", I guess you need to take that up with those wonderful government entities running the state universities. With your principles, I hope that you have repaid the investment in you that the U.S., Indiana and Arizona have put in you. Every two weeks from my paycheck.
