My research indicates ASND is heading for $115 by the end of 2/99.
Actually, 2/20. Let's see how this prediction works out.

It's a technical thing.

I agree, Clay. A Latin Fever relapse looms large (it's alot like the Asian Flu relapse, with fewer cold sweats).

So, I couldn't stop myself and sold 50% of my ASND today @ $92.75. If LU kicks some butt tomorrow, and the fever turns out to be some simple market indegestion, it's off to triple digits for the balance. I can live with that.

<<I can't believe that LU is not going to kick some butt tomorrow in its earnings release. I remember that somebody here posted that Mory wanted $100/share for ASND. It would make sense for LU to give him a view of pro-forma earnings before signing the contract so that Mory would be assured of making his goal.>>

I had posted in the past (re $100 per share), based on an interview "Ole Smoothie" did almost a year ago.

One perspective on ASND's earnings number. If you were Lucent, would you want ASND to beat earnings and stir up a lusting in the heart of the competitive bidders who are walking the floor at night, wracked by indecision.
