Glassy, Yeah, SEEK hurt bad. TMex sent out about 2 alerts this AM. One said that SEEK was going to 90 and another said he 'loaded up' on LCOS and MSPG. I imagine he is home doing some major homework tonight. I look forward to reading his take on the market in general. You know the transportation stocks tanked, which is a leading indicator to a tanking market.

GO network launched. Could the price of SEEK be bid up that much in anticipation and everybody sold on news? Disney has not performed as I expected. Then again, WallSteet is slow to respond and often comes in a few weeks late.

SEEK is the sort of stock you dump all your winnings from other stocks into. So that move hurt some deeply. ATHM, T, TCOMA, TCOMB and some others made up for dip in SEEK. PRFM has too strong a story to get hurt badly at this time, IMO.

Quote.com works pretty well for me. Justquotes.com, too. Is that the same as PCQuote?? They all look the same. . . probably why it is bogged down.

May need to do the ol' Yahoo search for another provider. Sorry I cannot be of more help on it.

If you use Datek (or E*Trade, Fidelity, Discover, CaseCom,
Schwab500, PCQuote MarketSmart or CBS MarketWatch) for
your real time quotes, you should take a look at
Medved QuoteTracker

medved.net

It is a free 95/NT program that uses the above sources to
track users' portfolios, plot realtime intraday charts,
give stock price alerts, track major indices, show historical
data charts etc.

The program was featured in last weeken's Barron's - page 53.
