Ken, i hear yea>
Try asking the american public if they want taxes and I make you a bet you will get 99% saying NO. So do we eliminate them. No it is not in our best interest. do you like going to a dentist? (had to get that one in!)
You get the point.
It is not in our best interest to keep him. As for the Republicans trying to keep him, there is the other side of the coin as Arnie states...the Democrats are trying to destroy our legal system.

Ken,<<

The polls show a 75 % favorable review, less than 33% want
him removed from office is that so hard to understand.>>

lets look at the polls from after the state of the union.

His job approval rating was 66 percent in the ABC poll and 76 percent in the NBC poll. If there is a 10 point difference then what if the true figures are more in the range of 56%. You can't really know.

Which polls and how many people polled? The ABC poll of 584.. The NBC poll of 620 total people. How can relativly the same small number of people polled reflect the national opinion if 2 seperate polls have a 10 percent difference and they were of the closest in number of people polled in any one poll.

six out of 10 in the CBS poll said his actions are not serious enough to warrant his removal. That is more like 60 % than 75%
The CBS poll was of 930 adults. That is 558 to keep him and 372 to get rid of him (I'm bad at math so correct me if I am way off). It is no landslide, and again, who can tell what the nation really thinks with less than a thousand people questioned in any one poll and most often closer to 500 people. even if only 4 out of ten people think he should be removed, I'll bet a good percent of the remaining 6 of ten are not really that thrilled with him and his mess he has gotten the country into. Some may not even really care and so voted keep him.
It is easier to say sure keep him if you don't care either way. So much for polls. Why don't we save all the trouble of voting in elections and just let a random 600 people vote and who ever gets the majority wins? As it stands I hate out electoral system as you do not need a majority of the real vote in order to win a bid for Presidency.
the system of voting and polling just makes little sense to me.

off the soap box.
