Dear Hunter: Well, you know I am not happy with the PR but in Jenkins defense. This Mangan thing is obviously taking a lot longer than he envisioned and very likely tying up a lot of his time when I am sure he has other things he could be doing. I have heard is in a nearly constant travel mode. Latest hold up on Mangan from what I have heard is that they are going to do it as a Pooling of Interests thus Mangan needs to be audited for all periods presented. If this is true it also likely means no cash all stock in the deal. Anyhow, seems to me we would be better off getting info from the horses mouth and not by hook or by crook--I STRONGLY suggest that everyone get on his back and STAY on his back about this. Otherwise, we will just await earnings. JDN

Hunter,

I have to disagree with you about their PR job.

As the director of marketing for a large electronics firm, I consider PR one of my largest responsibilities, along with one of my best weapons.

We, my department and PR agency, work from a strict schedule developed in conjunction with the overall marketing plan. We put out a minimum of one release per month (we're privately held, yet easily 5 times the size of TAVA) and usually at least twice that as news arises. Even though I don't have shareholders to answer to, the value of PR is immeasurable. Not one month went by last year where we weren't the feature of an article or at least quoted, in both industry and commercial media.

TAVA could stand to take a long hard look at their marketing/PR program and do their shareholders some justice by revamping it.
