[Go2Net comfortable with estimates]

SEATTLE, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Go2Net Inc. Chief Executive Officer Russell Horowitz said Wednesday he was comfortable with analyst estimates the company will earn 24 cents a share this fiscal year, compared with a loss of 16 cents in fiscal 1998.

He also said in an interview that he was comfortable with estimates that earnings will rise to 81 cents a share in fiscal 2000. The figures exclude any non-recurring charges such as those the company has taken to account for its ongoing acquisition strategy.

Horowitz expected revenue for the current fiscal year, ending in September, to top $17 million, compared with $4.8 million last year.

He noted the company beat revenue and operating net estimates in the just-ended first quarter.

Horowitz said 1999 will see the company continue to grow rapidly, both internally and through acquisitions.

He added that the company will be rolling out its Hypermart commerce solution for small businesses over the next three to six months.
