Bob,

I have had this happen too. It seems to happen to nets that have limited training done, 20 to 40 hours. Nets that have 80 to 100 hours or more of training time don't seem to do this, at least I haven't had any nets with this many hours on them crash. Anyway, I've found that all is not lost. Earlier on when this happened to me, I thought the whole net had crashed and I started training it again from the beginning. Later I found out that if you just start training it, the net will restore itself, usually within an hour, depending on how complex it is. The next time one seems to crash, just start training it and walk away. Come back in an hour and I think you'll like what you see.
