Have you guys noticed how the volume has been picking up? More volume with a higher price is a very good thing.

Thanks muchly for the info. I needed another network company to round out my portfolio, so even though I didn't understand it completely, this looked like it fit the bill. The great thing about SI is you can learn a lot about great buys from the folks here. Thanks again.

Regards,
TK

<< It's me understanding it and not buying it. I've
been waiting for a pullback...and kicking myself daily for not getting in. At these levels I
almost feel like I'd be chasing it but some here seem to think it could go a lot higher.>>

You sound like me, a closet MFNX fan who has been waiting for a nice pullback... hopefully the entire stock market dumps in the next few days so we can load up here. (have been watchin GBLX too)

5 day moving average is sitting at $45 3/4 so it should at some point hit that.. (I hope) :)

Good luck to us, and congrats to the longs... time to invest in some more of these solid stocks after chasing the internets for the past 3 months...

P.S. Is anyone here a fan of Broadcom (BRCM) like me? I think its a stock which is really positioned to take advantage of the bandwith explosion in the next 3-5 years.

Mark

Good explanation Paul. To add to that, Tom, xDSL is available in may cities in US. However, they are just not in the price range home users are able to afford. Therefore, the ISPs are focusing on SOHO (small office, home office) market where they can demand much higher price range.

On a different topic, not understanding it and buying it is scary, but he can learn just like what Tom is doing, and he can sleep at night. Understanding totally but not buying addes pure frustration while watching the stock making the run and slit after split (I went through two splits myself). So jump right in with the rest of us. You know the digital age is moving towards photonic age, that only means hundreds of times more fiber optics. Cisco bought pipeline, Cascade's founder just founded Segamore, all these compnaies are working O-O (optical to optical) routing and switching to replace todays O-E-O technology.
