I have been able to gain some information regarding the lawsuit filed by Spectrum
Alex Informatique has been petitioned into bankruptcy, so this is Spectrums' way of officially making their claim on the money owed to them and Alex employees who now work at Spectrum. The Alex employees have no beef with Spectrum; it is with Alex Informatique. Financially the company has not incurred any major legal fees at this time as they have just filed the claim. Spectrum will attempt to recoup any fees associated with the claim. .
Regarding RPA and the IP intellectual property they owned prior to the acquisition has been fully assigned to Spectrum by RPA so there is no risk on that front.
Spectrum may actually recoup its money thru its own stock if the old Alex Informatique has not yet had the stock made available to them. This may actually turn out to be a win-win for Spectrum getting the Alex computer talent and IP at fire sale price and then collect money owed to employees of Alex and legal fees with shares of SSY. Quite a coup as Alex has added a whole new dimension to Spectrums tooling s/w and product line centered around ADI and the new super TigerSharc core.
