It's too many years since I was on a field job but my memory of HQ was that it was bigger. Personally I was more interested in the hole size than the core size at the time I was involved in diamond drilling. At that time we used HQ to get a three and five eigths inch dia hole for structural high capacity rock anchors. When I asked Walter about size He mentioned 66mm, but didn't say whether that weas the core or the hole and I didn't think to ask. He did say it was thin wall core barrel they were using.
