ra -Not including commissions, there must be a lot of "DUMB PEOPLE", wanting to loose money @ ABX $5 offer, or there are a few informed people who think $5 is cheap and there is still a good ride left yet On the contrary, I think there are at least a few very smart people who want to make a deal with Barrick for a price somewhat in excess of $5. There is little downside - so a profit of even 10% in a few weeks would look very good. I think what some people here are forgetting is that Barrick has gained it's success by being great (calculated) risk takers and this situation is no different. some of the Lac properties looked terrific but they have had to be mothballed - others WERE terrific. dd
