Russell had some very positive comments about the past quarter, the coming quarter, and the future of the company. (SEE #3 below FOR POSSIBLE MERGER AND ACQUISITION) Here are some of the highlights of Russell's comments: 1. very pleased with the results. saw favorable trends in internal growth. Non-advertising revenue(subscription, technology, and e-commerce) picked up big. Become one of the top 25 most visited network online. very happy that business strategy worked well. will make more acqusitions. 2. see more positive progress this coming quarter. for both top and bottom line. will carry out a $2 mm ad campaign to increase Go2Net's name recognition. 3. liked athome and excite deal. thought "internet access+content provider" is the key. hinted that an parter that have access capabiltiy would make great sense to GNET and it fits the business strategy very well (he won't go into the specifics) NOW, IS THIS PIECE OF INFORMATION BIG OR WHAT?! Classical internet-double peak if it does happen.
