You are such a joy! Glad you asked about FYI...Now, did I ever say that you said that there was a violation?? Hmm? No, I did not. "Since I said I consider it degrading why would I participate?" I guess you're serious again...and you really want me to answer that. OK, pez...just for you, though...cuz I like ya! You would participate because... it's part of human sexuality and it feels great! If your partner was into it, you would do it. Agreed? If you think that particular activity is degrading to Woman, don't you think that heterosexuality, generally, is equally degrading to Women? It seems that it would follow...what's the difference? First of all, I wouldn't use the word "hipocrite"...maybe just "conflicted". It must be the cumulative effects of pornography that have caused men to see felatio as degrading ...the irony is that men crave this thing that they think is so awful. This is what causes the toxic repression in male sexuality. So many men pay pro's for felatio. Some get it from other men, even though they would identify as "heterosexual"! There's an enormous<g> demand for what society calls "degrading" sex. Gay men love to have each others penises in their mouths as a way to show deference and acceptance. Most men need genital "acceptance" to feel ok about themselves. It must be a genital-based self-loathing that men experience that is perpetuating this taboo...perhaps it's the Women in our society that have defined felatio as "degrading". It just confirms my thoughts about the way the all mighty penis is perceived by men...as a weapon...the primordial spear! The "my ding-a-ling fixation" or vexation, as it were...is the "root" of Misogyny. Women are so often repulsed by this phallocentricity...and that causes more alienation and self-loathing in men...then that causes them to use the penis as a weapon, projecting their own self-disgust onto their female partners...this does not happen in gay male relationships. I wonder why... If gay men love it...and they absolutely do, I tend to believe that all men like it. I mean, the reverse is true, but cunnilingus has never been described as "degrading"...it's that pesky phallus taboo again.... BTW, the "oral majority" thing was an attempt at levity. Oral sex has become a grave topic these days!
