As always, its a hard fact to follow. Customer is always right & still the best kept secret in America! Web site looks good & Trey has maintained that service is what Wstl will sell. I still agree! <Financing, close but WSTL will wait till BEL DMT is announced(good decision),my guess is the company from the land of the rising sun..> Done right, that would put Wstl in the teens. Thanks for the report DR.. I just re-read a interoperability model of Microsoft's back from 97. ATM over ADSL with support from ALA and Westell. Has a nice ring. Have to tip my CAP to Westell. They morphed to DMT quite smoothly. sg

DR. TECH Thanks again for your excellent post! Looking forward to what is said at tomorrows CC. Hope the stock will at least hold at the 8 level when earnings are reported. Then again a surge to 10 would be great too if they state some real postive news. Seems to me a nice shelf is forming at the 8 level, with a definite upward swing,.....if only they can hold on to it,.....will see. All in my own opinion

dr.-- take this to heart. for once, i really am counting on what you say. mostly because i hope you have expressed to the company how to run the damn business. on a lighter note, we have been putting things together for a long time. the analysts and the street are the ones we need to convince. any ideas on how to do that. one good one would be for zionts to FINALLY talk down AWRE. its about damn time. and he needs to give TXN their marching orders. its getting to be ridiculous. good luck to all, trey

Dr. Tech...I think it is VERY IMPORTANT that you respond to this...<Wstl is using ALA chipset because ALA gets the network and wstl gets the modems.......of course selling them below cost to stay competitive. It is obvious that ALA will get the money making portion of the contract.><by: TheBusdriver_ (666/M/Westhell, Hades) 4757 of 4760> MZ said that WSTL's modems will be interopable with ALA's DSLAM's. Doesn't this mean that WSTL will have lost the DSLAM business for BEL to ALA? I always thought WSTL never wanted to sell the modems and be like a US Robotic co due to the low to no margins and fierce competition? As I listened to MZ explain the ALA deal I became concerned as to the direction WSTL was taking? Did I also hear MZ say LU can now market SLC-2000 since it would be ready by mid year? Thanks in advance!
