Nice article. Without shorts, there is no stock market. doh! They
shouldn't complain too much.

Pirate's Rules
1. Investors: Either you look for good stocks and go long or look
for bad stocks and short.

2. Investors: Stay away from "FAD" stocks, i.e., internet stocks.

3. Other: Anything goes.

On message boards, especially the internet stock forums, the bull vs. bear war is HOT ! Flame wars! Rule #3 is in effect, hee!

When you goto "good stock" threads, alot less shorts, things
are tame and visa versa, everyone is happy, rule #1 is in effect, hee!

So, when bulls get hammered when the stock crashes, they
ignored rule #1, hee!

So, when bears get hammered shorting stocks and the stock soars, they
ignored rule #1, hee!

Where does rule #3 fit in ? Simple, when a company the size of
my backyard has a market cap of 50 Billion, something is not
right, stay away, hee!

Pirate
