Without Mike's verbal assurance (Mike learnt his lesson), and the fact that they only beat by 1c last Q, I see whisper for this Q at best 1-2 cents above consensus. With the magnitude of INTC and MSFT surprises, I don't see any chance of DELL missing that this quarter. The play for DELL's earning is to the upside.

If you want to play the downside, just buy put the day of earning release. At least that will save you some dough during the pre earning runup.

Skeets, After that huge receivables scam last quarter, I wonder if Dell has much ammo left. Where is the tout-a-thon? It took place right before Mikey sold his shares. <G>
