Yeah, I went into the office late today so I could watch AG
and the market simultaneously...uhh, I mean cause I had a dentist
appointment. The market reaction was positive when AG mentioned
that he was against SS funds in the market. But as we all witnessed,
the rallies were sold throughout the day. I even exited my
semi stocks(CYMI,NVLS,TER) in the afternoon. I'm looking forward
to Ike's opinion on the SOX. I know he likes it to 230-250,
but I felt a little uneasy and wanted to lock in profit and
protect capital. I can always jump back in if I'm wrong,
but I can't stomach watching those gains gap down into the abyss.

On moneyline tonight, Wayne Angel offered the commentary that Greenspan said that corporations lacked pricing power... So there is not a concern about increasing rates yet. Angel also stated his view that 1999 would be a better year for earnings than 1998. FWIW
