Why bother? MSFT can REPLICATE everything YHOO brings to the dance for next to nothing,.. Yeah, and they better put it on their intranet because the only people that will go there are Microsoft people. How soon we forget the MSN scare. DOJ was going to sue them because MSN buttons were all over the OS. I thought AOL and YHOO were going to get clobbered. We are creatures of habit. If you got cozy with AOL and all your fiends are there, then you stay there. I go to YHOO every day because my stock profiles are there and I know my way around their business information. The portal/search engine is a mature market. Everybody is familiar with it and we don't need any newcomers. YHOO, LCOS, XCIT, SEEK, AOL and that's it. We don't need anymore general portals. If you to be a big one, you gotta buy one.
