What I meant is that if you do your own analysis & not necessarily rely on the brokerage analysts ratings upgrades, earnings adjustments, & your analysis is correct, your investment will do fine.

If your personal investment decisions live & die by the "analyst tape," then your not investing, but running with the flock. I've been in this stock since 1991. When it tanked last year I added to my position at 23 & 24. I didn't need a an analyst for guidance.

I personally know one analyst who follows this stock who dumped his entire personal holding in ORCL @ 25 & change. So much for analysts.
