The conversion might take 2 to 3 months at $220 .00 a subsrciber . Lets say 2mil convert over [why DIRECT TV IS THE BEST OUT THERE] thats almost 900mil [not500k] Not bad for TSATA with 40 % of primestar. Whats 360mil divided by 60 . Like I said, the deal is not bad and this puppy will not be down in the morn.bought 11,000 at the close 2 7/8

6.25 and the bond holders are happy as can be [they will hold gmh bonds

Are we reading the same release? I have read it at three locations and they all say the same to me. 500 MILLION for 11 frequencies. Not 500 thousand.

The release also states that the 500 MILLION will only buy the frequencies and that EVERY subscriber of 2.3 MILLION will be additionally purchased as they convert to the DIRECT TV system.

Can we say CONSILIDATION? Sure we can!

Now to address another issue. There is a SHORT position of 1.4 MILLION shares. Not 5 thousand. Now if I were one of those in the 1.4 MILLION shorts I would be covering in the morning.

Only a thought. My money is on the buyout with this volume and the cashless position of TSATA. No bad deal here as I see it.

***OT*** I drive past Primestar/TCI building in Denver about twice a month. They are in the prime technological real estate park area of Southeast Denver. Nice building along the interstate. Visible and beautiful.
