Ten - Re: " <I am stunned - and pleased - that the 400 and 366 MHz Celeron machines have sold out already. GREAT NEWS for Intel shareholders.>

I had a near-identical experience last Monday.

At one of the FRY'S IN Silicon Valley, I and two friends went to buy one of these 366 MHz Celerons from HP. It was one week to the day after the Launch (Jan. 4 = launch day) and Fry's was running ads over the prior week end.

We showed up at noon time and were told that they were SOLD out. They checked (Computer Inventory) all other stores in the Bay Area (at least 5 or 6) and ALL stores were sold out.

I asked the Salesman how many each store got - and he said about 100 HP 4450 (?) 366 MHz Celerons PER STORE.

And they sold out within a week.

Not bad.
