<OT> Some Clinton Quotes even Waldy MIGHT find amusing:

========================
========================

1992, Bill's campaign comments on George Bush:

"Every time Bush talks about trust, it makes chills run up and down my spine. The very idea that the word 'trust' could come out of Mr. Bush's mouth after what he's done to this country and the way he's trampled on the truth is a travesty of the American political system."

"There's just no such thing as truth when it comes to him [Bush]. He just says whatever sounds good and worries about it after the election."

======

1974, Bill, running for the US House of Representatives, on Nixon right after Watergate:

"There's nothing left to say. There's not any point now in his putting the country through an impeachment since he isn't making any pretense of innocence now."

"I think it's plain that the president should resign and spare the country the agony of this impeachment and removal proceeding."

"I think the country could be spared a lot of agony and the government could worry about inflation and a lot of other problems if [Nixon would] go on and resign...[there is] no question that an admission of making false statements to government officials and interfering with the FBI and CIA is an impeachable offense."

========================
========================

Not wishing to omit Mrs. Clinton, her interview on the "Today Show", January 27, 1998 yields this insight:

Interviewer:
============
"If an American president had an adulturous relationship in the White House and lied to cover it up, should the American people ask for his resignation?"

Mrs. Clinton:
=============
"They [the American people] certainly should be concerned about it...I think that if all that were to be proven true, I think that would be a very serious offense..."

========================
========================

Finally, Bill Clinton's own position on 'truth', from a speech at the University of Connecticut in 1995:

"The road to tyranny, we must never forget, is the destruction of truth."

========================
========================

In January of 1998, Mrs. Clinton on the "Today Show" blamed the "right-wing conspiracy" for trouble she most likely knew (IMHO - she's a very smart lady) was of Mr. Clinton himselfs own making.

And do not forget the other close female friends of Mr. Clinton that were pressed into defending him: Mandy Grunwald, Dee Dee Meyers, Sec. of State Madeline Albright, Sec. of Health and Human Services Donna Shalala, Betty Currie, Senator Barbara Boxer, and finally Senator Dianne Feinstein. I wonder how each really feels right now?

========================
========================

All this from the man that promised "the most ethical administration in the history of the Republic."

For the coupe de grace, check out this if you truly want to know what Bill and Hillary, the US taxpayers, and obstruction of justice (including the Vince Foster scandal) have in common, read this from the records:
