He hedged his bets the other day in so many words,
with a don't blame me folks..
A lot of this up has IMO been fabricated by the hop nobs that
picked up the LTCM derivatives.., that got in trouble on the last
down swing, OK they are and have unwound most of that on this
last rally, lots of odd things to me have been showing up,
since that LTCM fiasco..lot of back room moves.
This market is not on the up & up.
And why without warning did the exchanges all UP the margin
requirements on the internuts. ?
The Brazil thing was no accident either.

He did his thing and helped his buddies out of LTCM,,
and kept her up for tax time, but for now the rest of
the market can go to hell as far as he cares,..
IF YOU SEE the after hours stuff I just looked at you would
know now why I had the hammer cocked..I shorted all I could
short by 10am this morning.
Even IBM is getting killed as I type this, it's bloody.
The hedge funds did an end run on the arbitrage indexers
late today, They dumped the futures at the last minuet,
then went to selling stocks after hours..they will be buying
futures on the low in the morning. And may even buy stocks
when they hit bottom tomorrow..( if panic don't set in )
Sure is some wild stuff going on.
